New organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training

The Ministry of Education and Training has 20 units performing the function of state management as follows:

1-The Preschool Education Department;

2-The Primary Education Department;

3- The Secondary Education Department;

4-The Tertiary Education Department;

5-The Physical Education Department;

6- The Ethnic Minority Education Department;

7-The Continuing Education Department;

8- The Defense and Security Education Department;

9- The Political Education and Pupil and Student Affairs Department.

10-The Organization and Personnel Department;

11-The Planning and Finance Department;

12-The Department of Physical Foundations.

13- The Science, Technology and Environment Department.

14- The Legal Affairs Department.

15- The Office;

16-The Inspectorate.

17-The Quality Management Department.

18-The Agency of Teachers and Education Administrators;

19- The Information Technology Department;

20- The International Cooperation Department

Besides, the Ministry of Education and Training attaches 03 public non-business units: The Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences; the Education Journal; The Education and Time newspaper.

The new organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training no longer includes 03 units, including: The Emulation and Commendation Department, The National Academy of Education Administration, and The Ho Chi Minh City Education Administrator School.
