MONRE: New organizational structure from November 01, 2022

Accordingly, the Vietnam Environment Administration and the General Department for Land Administration are not included in the new regulations. The new units are the Department of Environment, the Department of Natural Conservation and Biodiversity, the Department of Environmental Pollution Control, the Department of Land, the Department of Land Resources Planning and Development, and the Department of Land Database and Registration.

In particular, the organizational structure of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is as follows:

5. The Organization and Personnel Department.

6. The Department of Land

7. The Department of Environment

14. The Department of Digital Transformation and Natural Resources and Environment Data

- The units are administrative units assisting the Minister in performing the state management function, including:

The units are non-business units serving the Ministry’s state management function, including: 

• The Institute for Natural Resources and Environment Strategies and Policies.
• The Natural Resources and Environment newspaper; The Natural Resources and Environment journal.
• The Center for Water Resources Survey and Planning; The Training and Re-training School for Natural Resources and Environment Cadres.

The Department of Planning-Finance and the Organization and Personnel Department include 03 departments.
