From June 01, 2022, a discount of express service cannot exceed 50%

On April 12, 2022, the Government issued Decree No. 25/2022/ND-CP on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government’s Decree No. 47/2011/ND-CP dated June 17, 2011, detailing a number of contents of the Law on Post.

The Decree 25/2022 has supplemented a number of important regulations relating to postal services at the Article 15 of the Decree 47/2011.

In particulars, promotion in the postal service provision shall be implemented in accordance with the legal regulations on trade as follows: Within that, the maximum discount rate for postal services promoted in the form of a discount must not exceed 50% of the most recent postage rate announced in accordance with regulations.

Besides, the postal service charges are in Vietnam dong, including taxes and surcharges of the service; other relevant information (if any).

The posted postal service charges must be consistent with the rates announced by the enterprises or organizations to the competent state agencies in charge of post.

The Decree No. 25/2022/ND-CP takes effect on June 01, 2022.
