This content is prescribed in the Decree No. 58/2022/ND-CP dated August 31, 2022, on registering and managing the operations of non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.
Accordingly, the non-governmental organizations have the rights as follows:
- Receive incentives on tax, goods import, and working licenses in accordance with law provisions;
- Receive foreign currencies or Vietnam dong via accounts in accordance with law provisions;
- Allowed to transfer foreign currencies abroad to serve the activities of development support and humanitarian aid in accordance with law provisions;
- Be commented on the achievements in projects and programs in Vietnam in accordance with law provisions;
- Can terminate their activities when having no demand on operating in Vietnam anymore;
- Open and use a payment account in Vietnam dong or a foreign currency at a commercial bank or branch of a foreign bank licensed to operate in Vietnam for implementing programs, projects, and non-projects of development assistance and humanitarian aid in accordance with law provisions.
Decree 58 takes effect on November 01, 2022, and replaces Decree No. 12/2012/ND-CP on registration and management of activities of non-governmental organizations in Vietnam.
