On September 26, 2024, the National Assembly Standing Committee approved the Resolution No. 53/2024/UBTVQH15 on adjustments to the 2024 law- and ordinance-making program. This Resolution takes effect on the signing date.
The following draft laws and resolutions to be submitted to the National Assembly for opinion and passage at the 8th session (October 2024) according to the procedures for consideration and passage of laws at a single session and fast-track procedures:
- Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Planning Law, Investment Law, Law on Investment in the Form of Public-Private Partnership, and Bidding Law;
- Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Securities Law, Accounting Law, Law on Independent Audit, Law on the State Budget, Law on Management and Use of Public Assets, Law on Tax Administration, and Law on the National Reserve;
- National Assembly’s Resolution on pilot handling of exhibits and assets in the course of investigation, prosecution and adjudication of a number of criminal cases and matters;
- National Assembly’s Resolution on the organization of urban administration in Hai Phong city.
Additionally, the draft Law on Public Investment, to be submitted to the National Assembly for opinion at the 8th session (October 2024), and passage at the 9th session (May 2025).
Draft laws that have been well prepared and obtained lawmakers’ high consensus in the National Assembly’s discussions shall be considered by the National Assembly Standing Committee in coordination with the Government for submission to the National Assembly for passage at the 8th session (October 2024) according to the procedures for consideration and passage of laws at a single session.
