Many localities increase region-based minimum wages to VND 760,000/month

For the adjustment in region-based minimum wage levels as well as localities in the Decree No. 38/2022/ND-CP dated June 12, 2022, of the Government, many localities increase region-based minimum wage levels to 760,000/month.

In particular, from July 01, 2022 - the Decree 38 formally takes effect and the minimum wage levels are changed as follows:

Besides, the new regulations also adjust a number of localities to get higher region-based minimum wage levels:

- Ha Long city (Quang Ninh), Xuan Loc rural district (Dong Nai province) are transferred to Region I from Region II. Region-based minimum wage is increased by VND 760,000/month from VND 3.92 million/month to VND 4.68 million/month.

- Hoa Binh city, Luong Son rural district (Hoa Binh), Quang Yen, Dong Trieu towns; Vinh city, Cua Lo town, Nghi Loc rural district, Hung Nguyen rural district (Nghe An)...are transferred to Region II from Region III. Region-based minimum wage is increased by VND 730,000/month from VND 3.43 million/month to VND 4.16 million/month.

- Van Dong, Hai Ha, Dam Ha, Tien Yen rural districts (Quang Ninh); Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Nam Dan, Nghia Dan, Dien Chau, Do Luong rural districts and Hoang Mai, Thai Hoa towns (Nghe An)...are transferred to Region III from Region IV. Region-based minimum wage is increased by VND 570,000/month from VND 3.07 million/month to VND 3.64 million/month.
