Issue the List of 117 living things subject to plant quarantine

On August 15, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development promulgates the list of living things subject to plant quarantine in Vietnam.

In particulars, the list of living things subject to plant quarantine in Vietnam includes:

112 living things that are likely to cause serious harms to plants (not yet present in Vietnam)

Mononychellus tanajoa Bondar;
Balansia oryzae - sativae Hashioka;
Pseudomonas syringae pv. garcae (Young et al.)
Xylella fastidiosa Wells et al;
Tomato brown rugose fruit virus;
Potato spindle tuber viroid;
Radopholus similis (Cobb) Thorne
Living things that are likely to cause serious harms to plants: Insects; Spiders; Fungus; Bacteria; Virus, Viroid; Nematodes; Weeds

05 living things that are likely to cause serious harm to plants (narrowly distributed in Vietnam):

Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller);
Ditylenchus dipsaci (Kuhn) Filipjev;
Cuscuta australis R. Br.
Striga angustifolia (D. Don) C. J. Saldanha
Striga asiatica (L.) Kuntze

This Circular takes effect on September 29, 2023.
