Today, investors can sell securities, receive money 01 day earlier

In accordance with the new Regulation, investors are allowed to sell securities bought on T+0 right in the transaction on the afternoon of T+2, instead of having to wait until T+3 as in previous regulations.

The time for being cleared by the bank and completed by the Vietnam Securities Depository is changed from 15:30 - 16:00 to 11:00 - 11:30 on T+2.

Depository members must allocate money and securities to customers as soon as the bank completes the clearance and the Vietnam Securities Depository finishes the payment before 13:00 on the payment date.

At the same time, inform the Vietnam Securities Depository on the performance results at least 16:30 on the same day.

This Regulation takes effect on August 29, 2022. Accordingly, investors who have transactions on August 25, 2022 (T + 0) will receive securities and money before 13:00 of August 29, 2022 (T + 2) in order to buy and sell securities in the trading session in the afternoon on the same day.
