The policy takes effect today (June 01, 2023)

On June 01, 2023, the policy of reducing the fee for use registration of the national domain names formally takes effect.

Reduce fee for use registration of the national domain names

In accordance with Circular No. 20/2023/TT-BTC the fee for using the registration of the national domain name “.vn” shall be reduced by 50% from June 01, 2023, from VND 200,000 to VND 100,000 as follows:

- Second-level domain name with 01 digit

- Second-level domain name with 02 digit

- Other second-level domain names

- Third-level domain name below the generic second-level domain name com.vn, net.vn.

Besides, the charges for the registration of the third-level domain name under the second-level domain names below edu.vn, gov.vn, org.vn, ac.vn, health.vn, int.vn and domain names by administrative boundaries are reduced from VND 120,000 to VND 50,000.
