Supplement 02 cases of revocation of certificates of eligibility for provision of motor vehicle inspection services

Decree No. 121/2024/ND-CP of the Government has supplemented the revocation of certificates of eligibility for the provision of motor vehicle inspection services

In particular, Clause 2, Article 1 of the Decree No. 121/2024/ND-CP on supplements Clause 7 and Clause 8 of Article 11, Decree No. 139/2018/ND-CP on prescribing the provision of motor vehicle inspection services

Accordingly, supplement 02 cases of revocation of certificates of eligibility for provision of motor vehicle inspection services

An inspection center may have its certificate of eligibility for provision of motor vehicle inspection services revoked in one of the following cases:

- The use of tool and software to repair vehicle data and inspection data aims to legalize vehicle information and vehicle inspection results.

- The operation of the section in charge of inspection dossier-related matters shall not be maintained during the time the unit halting the provision of motor vehicle inspection services, except for force majeure cases or objective obstacles as prescribed by law”.

Additionally, Article 11 of Decree No. 139/2018/ND-CP prescribes the provision of motor vehicle inspection services

An inspection center may have its certificate of eligibility for the provision of motor vehicle inspection services revoked in one of the following cases:

-  The certificate is granted based on fraudulent or falsified papers or documents.

- The certificate is intentionally erased or falsified.

- The inspection center stops providing motor vehicle inspection services for more than 12 consecutive months.

- The inspection center is suspended from the provision of all motor vehicle inspection services more than twice in 12 consecutive months.

- The inspection center is dissolved.

Article 11. Revocation of certificates of eligibility for provision of motor vehicle inspection services An inspection center may have its certificate of eligibility for provision of motor vehicle inspection services revoked in one of the following cases:

1. The certificate is granted based on fraudulent or falsified papers or documents.
2. The certificate is intentionally erased or falsified.
3. The inspection center stops providing motor vehicle inspection services for more than 12 consecutive months.
4. The inspection center is suspended from providing all motor vehicle inspection services more than twice in 12 consecutive months.
5. The inspection center has its inspectors suspended from practice five or more times or 3 or more inspectors having their inspector’s certificates revoked in 12 consecutive months. 6. The inspection center is dissolved.
The Decree No. 121/2024/ND-CP takes effect on October 05, 2024.
