Regulations on management model of national tourist areas

On May 19, 2022, the Government hereby issues the Decree No. 30/2022/ND-CP prescribing the management model of national tourist areas.

Accordingly, the Decree 30 prescribes the 03 management models of national tourist areas as follows:

- National tourist area management units under the management of ministries or ministerial-level agencies.

- National tourist area management boards under the management of provincial-level and centrally-run cities People's Committees

- Enterprises investing in the formation of national tourist areas.

The national tourist area management unit is a public service provider under a ministry or ministerial-level agency. The establishment, reorganization and dissolution of the national tourist area management unit must comply with the law provisions on establishment, reorganization, and dissolution of public service providers.

This Decree takes effect on August 01, 2022. Within 24 months from the effective date of this Decree, the national tourist areas that have been recognized must reorganize their management boards in accordance with the provisions of this Decree.
