On August 24, 2026, the XVIth National Assembly passed Law No. 22/2026/QH16 Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Vietnamese Guest Workers.
Point b, Clause 10, Article 1 of the 2026 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Vietnamese Guest Workers, No. 22/2026/QH16, which amends and supplements Point b, Clause 2, Article 26 of the 2020 Law on Vietnamese Guest Workers, No. 69/2020/QH14, provides:
To post on the service enterprise's website and update on the database on Vietnamese guest workers, within 5 days from the date of a change, information on: its at-law representative, professional staff, head office address, branches, business locations, physical foundations serving pre-departure orientation education activities for workers, decisions assigning tasks to its branches, and other information as prescribed by the Government.
Accordingly, a service enterprise sending Vietnamese workers abroad under contracts shall update its operational information on the database within 5 days from the date of a change. At the same time, the enterprise shall post the changed information on its website to ensure publicity and transparency throughout its operation.
The information subject to update includes:
Information on the at-law representative and professional staff;
The head office address, branches, business locations, and physical foundations serving pre-departure orientation education activities for workers;
Decisions assigning tasks to branches; and
Other information as prescribed by the Government.
In addition, Law No. 22/2026/QH16 adds the responsibility to build, manage, operate, update, connect and share the database on Vietnamese guest workers. The management and updating of data aim to serve state management, monitor the operation of service enterprises, and ensure consistency in information management.

On August 23, 2026, the National Assembly passed the 2026 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on State Compensation Liability, No. 15/2026/QH16. Notably, the Law provides for amendments to a number of articles of the 2025 Law on Tax Administration.
The challenge is to develop specific and effective solutions to ensure that all citizens have the capacity to use and benefit from the digital transformation process.
This is one of the changes most directly affecting the interests of compensation claimants under the 2026 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on State Compensation Liability, No. 15/2026/QH16.
