As the developer and operator of the website LuatVietnam.vn – one of Vietnam’s leading legal information platforms, LuatVietnam has carried out the mission of helping people easily access and search for information, content, and attributes of legal normative documents.
LuatVietnam has been actively participating in developing the National Law Portal, taking charge of two main sections:
- “New legal documents” – providing the contents and attributes of newly promulgated legal normative documents;
- “Law AI” – an artificial intelligence platform developed and operated by LuatVietnam.
The National Law Portal was officially launched on May 31, 2025, integrating several key features, including feedback on policies, a legal document search, and Law AI, a tool that assists users in exploring legal provisions through artificial intelligence technology.
In recognition of its significant contributions to the development and enhancement of the Law AI, which is integrated into the National Law Portal, LuatVietnam was honored to receive the Minister’s Commendation in two categories: the collective award granted to Vietnam Law Communications Joint Stock Company, and the individual award presented to Mr. Tran Van Tri, the Company’s Director.
- Outstanding collective achievements
Developed by LuatVietnam, the Law AI is capable of providing legal information and responses across 34 legal categories, trained entirely on official legal data sources and continuously updated in a timely manner. This tool enables users to perform legal searches and inquiries with accuracy, convenience, and multilingual capability.
Some notable results achieved by LuatVietnam’s AI system include:
- New Legal Documents: updating 450 newly promulgated legal normative documents;
- Law AI: expanding from 26 to 34 legal categories, training on approximately 2,700 additional legal documents, and reaching nearly 20,000 registered users with over 56,000 inquiries processed.
To achieve these results, LuatVietnam’s team have been working even in evenings and weekends, to continuously train, optimize, and operate the AI system. The company’s technical team also developed APIs to connect and transmit new legal documents and their attributes to the National Law Portal, and building a dedicated user web interface for the Law AI.
Additionally, LuatVietnam has always fully complied with its obligations to the State budget, ensured a safe working environment, cared for the well-being of LuatVietnam’s employees, and actively participated in social and charitable activities.
- Recognition of individual contributions
Besides the collective award, the Minister of Justice also presented an individual commendation to Mr. Tran Van Tri, the Director of Vietnam Law Communications Joint Stock Company, for his outstanding contributions to the development and operation of the National Law Portal.
Mr. Tri has been joining in the Portal’s architecture and functional design, and played an active role in the preparation for its launch ceremony. He directly reported to the Prime Minister at the inauguration event and supported the Prime Minister in interacting with the Law AI, and the Prime Minister gave him high praise and recognition.
He also accompanied the Minister of Justice in reporting to the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and delegates at the first meeting of the Steering Committee on Institutional and Legal Reform, directly participating in the Law AI Q&A interaction session.
Mr. Tri has personally directed and supervised the two sections “New Legal Documents” and “Law AI”, organized intensified work schedules to ensure quality, promptly addressed technical issues, and maintained a timely reward and motivation mechanism for employees.
Under Clause 1, Article 6 of Circular No. 11/2023/TT-BTP, individuals and collectives are eligible for the Minister of Justice’s Commendation when satisfying the criteria as follows:

+ Have contributed to socio-economic development, science, social, or humanitarian and charitable activities.
- Additionally, entrepreneurs, intellectuals, scientists, enterprises, and economic organizations that have made contributions to the development of the Ministry or the justice sector, and that comply with the Party’s policies and the State’s laws, may also be considered for or posthumously awarded the Minister’s Commendation.
